Abstract

This article examines how key actors perceive the business environment of the University Valle del Momboy from the perspective of collaborative governance. The study focuses on how organizations that interact independently with their environment use collaborative tools to enhance their efficiency. The research was conducted in Valera, Trujillo state, and employed a quantitative methodology based on a theoretical framework that includes theses, scientific articles, and online resources. Given the small population size, the sample matched the entire population, including three key actors from four companies in the environment: Inproandes, HAE, and Seipron. Surveys were administered through a questionnaire validated by three experts. The findings reveal that the university faces significant challenges, such as inadequate selection of key actors, economic and financial management issues, social conflicts, and deficiencies in areas like transparency, legality, participation, and responsiveness. Despite these challenges, positive aspects such as respect, trust, and integrity in relationships are highlighted, underscoring the relevance of collaborative governance in this context.
