The Doctor of the poor, from a youthful vision

Holiness today in our youth is a word that resonates little, motivated by the fact that talking about this topic for many is usually boring or of little importance, but if as young people we stop our life and start to detail how incredible it is the path of holiness, we can fall in love with the God who calls us to be saints and with the one who encouraged our Blessed, Doctor José Gregorio Hernández to be a just, humble, loving man, dedicated to his vocation. To talk about holiness is to talk about that man, who in life managed to accumulate all those aspects of an authentic Christian, which today have led him to write his name on the altars. The doctor of the poor as he is known, among many of his facets, always stood out for being passionate about his profession as a doctor and teacher, but what stands out most among his virtues is the ability to love and let himself be loved by God, a level of wearing out his life to serve the poorest and most marginalized, all in exchange for doing good, as he himself professed.
