The Doctor José Gregorio Hernández: From the View of Young People

José Gregorio Hernández, known as ``the doctor of the poor, the venerable one.'' He was a Venezuelan doctor, scientist, professor and philanthropist with a Catholic and secular Franciscan religious vocation, a public association in the Catholic Church and its members. José Gregorio Hernández Cisneros was born in the town of Isnotú, Trujillo State, on October 26, 1864. Son of Benigno Hernández Manzaneda, and Josefa Antonia Cisneros; He had 5 siblings who were: María Isolina, María Sofía, Cesar Benigno, José Benjamín, Josefa Antonia. He lived his entire childhood in his hometown and in the midst of a deeply religious climate. This family environment where he was raised made him a humble man, very supportive of everyone, especially the poor and most needy.
