At a time when we are suffering in Venezuela from a deep humanitarian crisis, exacerbated by the Covid 19 pandemic, and education, so necessary for reconciliation and progress, is barely surviving, the example of José Gregorio and his love for education, must motivate us to work with dedication and enthusiasm to rescue education as an essential means to rebuild Venezuela. José Gregorio was an exemplary student and a responsible and dedicated teacher. Passionate about ongoing training, throughout his life he showed an insatiable hunger to learn but not to increase the curriculum and consider himself superior to others, but to grow as a person, as a citizen and as a Christian and in this way better serve Venezuela and the people.
