Digital Divide In The Monte Carmelo Municipality In The State Of Trujillo

The objective of this investigation is to determine the existing digital divide in the citizens of the Monte Carmelo municipality in the State of Trujillo. It is a descriptive investigation of field, with a nonexperimental design. The population to study was all those citizens of the Monte Carmelo Municipality older than 15 years and minors of 64 years; a stratified sampling by sex and age was used A sample of 188 citizens was selected from the population formed by 15,250 habitants of the Monte Carlo municipality of the Trujillo state and the sample of 188 citizens was divided between the 3 parishes of the municipality. The results reveal that the 2,3% of the inhabitants of the Municipality are located in a High Digital Breach, the 63,1% Moderately a High Digital Breach and in the 34,7% Moderately Low Digital Breach. The main conclusion aims in the sense of a little communicational infrastructure development that has the municipality, characterized like a rural municipality
