Diagnostic of the participation of the PYMES torrefactoras trujillanas in the regional market of the coffee

At the present time, the company’s national torrefactoras manufacture a coffee 100% Venezuelan, for what gets used to identify the suppliers of the green coffee with the purpose of assuring the best crops in the crop time. Also, the companies bigger torrefactoras, possess several distribution centers distributed at national level, through which make arrive their products to all the points of sale, but other smaller torrefactoras, they are not in capacity of financing the distribution in other states outside of their origin region. Such a situation motivated to carry out the present study whose general objective was to diagnose the participation of the Pymes torrefactoras trujillanas in the regional market of the coffee. It was of descriptive type, with field design, being evaluated to the company’s regional torrefactoras (14 in total) and a sample of 24 commercial establishments of the municipality Valera, through a mixed questionnaire. The results indicate as the study it demonstrated as 50% of these companies medium and other 50% they are considered they are small companies; also in their entirety they market ground toasted coffee, 21%, ground coffee packed to the hole and none of them produces instantaneous ground coffee or saborizado. Also, they will take place approximately for this year 35.280.000 Kg. / annual, of ground coffee, that which conforms the regional offer of this product, before an annual demand of 53.154.000 Kg. / annual, with a near unsatisfied demand to 36.2% (17.874.000 Kg).
