Within the framework of sustainable human development, the role of university education institutions as transforming agents of realities is contemplated, in this context, this document aims to contribute with a series of reflections based on the theoretical postulates of sustainable human development pointing to generate a proposal for academic training in experiential projects framed in the economic, human, environmental, technological and institutional dimensions of the DHS, this from a journey from the conceptions of Maturana (2017), making a reflective analysis of the Encyclical Laudato SI , with the conceptualization of integral development, the causes of the crisis in which the planet is immersed, with a sense of occupation in this regard, exposing how one can be a participant in the solutions. Faced with this scenario, education is presented in a privileged position to contribute to the training of people in various areas of knowledge based on service to their peers, communities and the planet.
