Abstract

Scientific development with its useful inventions, has ostensibly improved the quality of human life, however, the intensity of consumption and exploitation of natural resources, in open incompatibility of the current production system against the harmonious functioning of nature have generated , from the global to the local; a complex and systemic network of eco-environmental experiences, whose threads extend to the community of “La Tunita”, From this perspective, the research is oriented to “Interpret in the light of sustainable development, the eco-environmental experiences of the socio-educational community of“ La Tunita -Trujillo ”. As a contribution to the completeness of environmental educational theory ", among other contributions were integrated that" education contains a treasure ", Delors (1994)," the white book of environmental education ", European Commission (1999)," Development sustainable ”, Jiménez, (2017). The variability model of the Padrón research (1999) and the Biology of knowledge Maturana (2002), guided the epistemic aspects. The investigative path traveled was made through the experiential introspective epistemic approach, the emotional research paradigm, the environmental interpretation technique and the biological-based observation. the technique of environmental interpretation and biological-based observation. The re-significance of the socio-environmental experiences showed that: the community suffers from various environmental problems; that are not rooted in community culture or the principles or values of environmental education and sustainable development, likewise some good eco-environmental practices were appreciated, such as the cultivation of food, medicinal and ornamental plants. That to trigger this cultural transformation the implementation of the "Econuco" is suggested as a sustainable strategy for urban agriculture and community social responsibility.
