Web information system for management competence profile faculty

Abstract

This research aims to implement a Web Information System for Profile Management Faculty Competition. We analyze the competition management models, for this research we use the model Competition Mc Clelland (1978), where the powers of the position defined by the university faculty consists of: skills, knowledge and attitudes. To achieve the objectives was conducted field research, and descriptive, obtaining a design for Competency Management Body of Teachers, also, applied research was carried out to implement the system. For the development of this system worked with the methodology OOHDM (Object Oriented Hypermedia Design Method) developed by D. Schaber and G. Rossi in 1998, which is ideal for designing web systems projects. For the development of the Software is used PHP language as the main tool for manipulating the screen, the Apache Web server under Windows platform and handle MySQL database.
