The Technological culture teachers of the Universidad Valle del Momboy

Abstract

This work was aimed to determine the characteristics of this technological culture among teachers of the Faculty of Engineering, Universidad Valle del Momboy located in the Municipality Carvajal Trujillo State. In this research study used a descriptive design with a field within the interpretive quantitative methodological approach. The population was conformed forty-six (46) teachers who applied a questionnaire was thirty-eight (38). Applied the questionnaire results reflecting the situation related to culture and technology teachers in the faculty, where the prevailing components or characteristics of organizational culture. In terms of features, criteria for reward and conflict tolerance, show discrepancies in the opinion of teachers who perceive it as more important. Regarding the technological components used by teachers is determined as the most dominant teachers the tools. It is recommended to implement mechanisms to improve performance through awareness  workshops to strengthen the values as the criteria for reward and conflict  tolerance.
