Information system for the control of hhe service of emergencia the 171 Trujillos of the Separate Military Command of the State Trujillo

Abstract

The main objective of this investigation is the development of an Information system for Trujillo's 171 emergency services. The aim is to offer to the communications department of the general command in the state Trujillo, a means by which to manage the operations of the registry of new occurrences in the jurisdiction of the state and the emergency service 171; proportioning an actualized and organized register of the daily operations of the department, in such a way that it will solve a large part of the inconveniences presented due to accuracy, loss and distortion of data, caused by the techniques used to manipulate the information. The information system facilitates the presentation of documents with real data that will help in the decision making process and operation management. The development of the system employs the methodology stages of Bakers’ Case {1990}, which presents six stages that permit the guaranteeing and fine tuning of the design. The programming employs tools such as Microsoft Visual Basic.0, Microsoft Access 2005 and Seagate Crystal Reports 8, which permit the creation of simple graphical applications with huge benefits with regard to the proper management of transactions with the database and to generate reports, which represent some of the more important elements to consider when constructing an information system.
