The hypothesis was raised: who knows more about the student who has nine points or the one who has ten points? The way in which students are evaluated is purely quantitative, this research proposes a paradigm shift, that is, evaluating students in a qualitative way, taking control over their daily learning. The model used is the one proposed by Mamdani for being the simplest to work with this type of data. The model works with linguistic variables instead of numerical variables, in addition. The rule base is the way that the fuzzy system has to store linguistic knowledge that allows it to solve the problem for which it has been designed. These rules are of the IF-THEN type.
