Abstract

This article raises the question of what is being done to change the world and highlights the importance of management with a human face to minimize the damage caused to nature, promoting citizen and ecological awareness. Based on the changes in life, generated as a result of the pandemic, climate change and other threats to human life force us to look at ourselves from the individual to the collective and address the construction of a world based on Sustainable Human Development, focused in the social economy component, to comply with the 17 Sustainable Development Goals proposed by the United Nations. The fundamental role of companies in the development of countries and in the construction of a fair, productive and responsible world is highlighted. The importance of business sustainability with a social sense is mentioned, which implies meeting the needs of the present without jeopardizing the future of the next generations and ensuring quality of life for all. The commitment of this generation to reinvent the sense of business and create companies with a sustainable and responsible sense, committed to caring for and maintaining harmony in the administration of natural resources, human talent and responsible profitability, is proposed. The importance of businesses having a human, ethical, ecological and social sense is highlighted, in order to achieve economic growth that does not neglect human and social growth. In summary, the need for a management with a human face that promotes citizen and ecological awareness, and for companies committed to business sustainability with a social sense, to achieve a just, productive and responsible world, is raised.
