Strategies the promotion of environmental conservation for better quality of life from early childhood education

This project aims to implement educational strategies that promotion environmental conservation for a better quality of life of the children of the C.E.I. "Mercedes González de Mújica". The study is framed in the form of social project of Pérez Serrano (2005), the procedure was carried out in four phases: diagnostic, planning, execution and evaluation. From the participatory diagnosis was determined the presence of attitudes of disrespect for the environment in preschool children. To deal with the problem, was designed a proposal for intervention which ran through four action plans: Video Forum, ecological Rally day for recycling and dialogue of knowledges. Among the achievements are awareness and incorporation of the teachers, parents, representatives, boys and girls, in terms of their responsibility for the care of the environment. The evaluation showed that he is managed to encourage commitment to stewardship, putting into practice the knowledge gained during the development of the project. Finally it was recommended to incorporate within environmental Symposium, at initial education educational programs, organize meetings that promote the care and preservation of the environment and develop through recreational activities relating to the conservation of the environment.
