Bicituiteros (as) venezuelans (s): Efforts to build a green citizenship

The presence of bicycles in twitter has gained ground in Latin America and Europe. In Venezuela, there are more than forty groups of cyclists in virtual social networks. The researchers studied the behavior of thirty Venezuelan twitter accounts cycling groups in terms of location, number of followers, years of creation of the accounts and relations with the bike from publicly shared tweets. The following characteristics were found: a) 16.54% of the accounts correspond to Caracas, b) normal growth curve creating accounts from 2010-2015, c) 100% of accounts promoted the use of bicycle and only one is responsible in its activities of preparing statistics on the number of users, d) is observed in the tweets public debates involving at least three of the actors green citizenship (State Company, Family, School and Community ),The accounts referred to increased activity in the accounts of facebook, f) The idea of forming a green citizenship still is taken ambiguously associated directly with the school and g) The critical mass, national and international events serve to cyclists unite
